If you have several thousand dollars to throw at travel-related paraphernalia, then Jan, 15 launch of the new Dior and Rimowa collab collection will help fill the void.
The collection touts its use of an anodizing process that inserts “pigments with vibrant and iridescent shades” into the aluminum, creating a reflective effect. The two brand’s collab is broken down into four categories: the Personal, the Cabin, the Trunk, and the Hand Case.
Originally unveiled at Paris Fashion Week Men’s back in June, the collection features signature RIMOWA models — including the Cabin, Trunk and Handcase — updated in sleek new colorways, as well as a blue ombré take on Dior’s monogram. Leather accents and Dior-branded wheels add finishing touches to each suitcase.
The Dior x RIMOWA suitcase collection ranges from $2,440 to $4,620 USD and is available now on Dior’s website.
The DIOR and RIMOWA collection is here: Don’t miss out and order your favorites now! Crafted using exceptional savoir-faire, the DIOR and RIMOWA collection possesses an innovative graded technique. An all-new combination using a process of anodizing to insert pigments with vibrant and iridescent shades into the aluminum for a reflective effect.
“I’m thrilled about the collaboration with RIMOWA and to be able to have an amazing DIOR and RIMOWA suitcase to travel with as I set off on my global adventures” – Kim Jones, Dior men’s artistic director.
