It’s refreshing to see Moynat’s latest creation, the Josephine, coming in a soft and relaxed shape built for both work and play, a modern-looking piece that also manages to capture the spirt of avant-garde innovation of the Parisian city in the 1920s to perfection.

At first glance, you will notice that the Josephine carries several signatures of the French luxury house, such as the patented twist lock (also found on the Danse and Limousine) that can be rotated almost 360 degrees, unlocking with a soft click to the roomy Veau Perle calfskin interior that’s built to hold all your essentials. The exterior, on the other hand, comes in Taurillon Blush leather, one that’s supple and flexible, giving the bag an elegant and relaxed silhouette. Top it all off with double Toron handles that are built to withstand daily wear and you’ve got a winner that ticks all the right boxes.

Additionally, it isn’t often that you get to see a bi-coloured bag from Moynat, with the Josephine furnished with graphic leather panels that’s a play on colour-blocking and geometric curves, and that also makes it the contemporary piece of today.

And as far as sizes are concerned, there are just 2 for now. The PMmeasures 26.5 cm across and 21 cm high, with a detachable strap that has a drop length of approximately 59 cm so you can sling it multiple ways as you deem fit.

The MM is wider and taller at 38 cm by 30 cm and will hold lots more (aniPad and a number of documents, for example), armed with an extra leather strap (drop length of 40 cm) so you can carry it easily over the shoulder.
